The project focuses on the "edges/boundaries" between the artist and the viewer, as well as the boundaries between visitors and the gallery space. The aim of the project was to draw attention to the boundaries between people, and particularly to blur them.
From the authors:
Initially, we wanted to give the space to the viewers, creating a "white cube" intended to encourage them to trace themselves on the walls and on the plaster casts of fragments of our bodies attached to them. Due to the sudden rules imposed by the organizers - the prohibition of drawing on the walls - we decided to build a miniature version of the room, and on the real wall, we put a sign saying "no drawing." As a result, the prohibition became a provocation to break it - during the exhibition, people drew not only on the designated miniature room but also on the walls of the real one, thus leaving a trace of themselves in the gallery space according to the original idea.
Part of our exhibition was also a "drawer project," which was a book in which we described our collaborative work, ideas, and all our assumptions that "could not" be realized due to the restrictions and new conditions imposed on us.
